swapping high fender of Ducati DesertX

I'm helping my buddy, he's got a Ducati DesertX and thinking about swapping to a high fender.

He's got a 2022 model and is wondering if anyone knows if it's a pretty straightforward swap. We've heard that with some other bikes, you need to mess with the brake hoses.

Has anyone done this mod before and can speak to how easy or difficult it is?
We're curious if the brake hoses need to be replaced with longer ones or if they'll still work with the new setup. Any tips would be a huge help!

It’s a pretty common swap, most say the brake hoses are fine as is, but you do need to reroute them a bit for clearance. If he’s going with an aftermarket kit, a lot of them include brackets to make it easier. Shouldn’t need new hoses unless he’s going for a really tall setup.

I agree, and maybe upgrade the hoses while you're at it, its not too hard if you plan ahead.
