I've got a Ducati DesertX and my buddy said that my bike needs a slip on exhaust, so I'm starting to look into some options.

I've watched a bunch of videos, but we all know that's not the same as hearing it in person.

The full Termignoni system is just way out of my price range, and even their slip on is pretty pricey. I'm thinking about SC Project and Arrow
Has anyone looked at and heard these two brands in person for a DesertX?

I'd love to get some real world opinions on the sound and performance.
Also, for a slip on, do you really need a new ECU flash or tune to get the most out of it?

I need all of your insights about this, thanks!

If you're looking at slip-on exhausts for your Ducati DesertX, both SC Project and Arrow sound great in real life, Arrow gives a deep growl, while SC Project is a bit sharper. You dont usually need a new ECU tune with just a slip-on, but getting one can really help with performance and smooth running. Videos dont do justice, so if you can hear them in person, thats best before you decide.

I've heard both on a DesertX, SC Project has a deeper, throatier tone, while Arrow is a bit more refined but still sporty. Neither really needs a tune with just the slip-on, but you'll squeeze more midrange out if you flash it
