Mounting T865 tablet on my DesertX

I'm looking into setting up the T865 on my DesertX with a Rade Garage tower, and unfortunately, I've been hitting clearance problems with the 12mm bar and the top of the screen. The DMD2 app is perfect, but it's tricky finding the right angle that doesn't interfere with the windscreen. Anyone out there made this combo work without hacking the whole thing apart?

I got a buddy who had a similar problem and he went to a specialized shop to create a custom bracket for him. I don't remember exactly which specialist he went to but rally-focused builders like Rally Moto Shop are reputable in these custom integrations. They're based in Canada but they definitely serve US customers!

The T865 with the Rade Garage tower can be tricky because of that 12mm bar clearance against the windscreen. A lot of riders adjust the angle carefully to find a sweet spot, sometimes slightly repositioning the tower or using spacers to avoid contact, without cutting anything . Have you tried loosening the mounts and experimenting with small angle changes or different spacer thicknesses to see if that helps??

Rade's tower plus T865 proves nav bling trumped usability; if a 12 mm crossbar clashes with the screen, the kit's ergonomics are flawed, not your install and DMD2 can't compensate for poor mechanical design.
