Aprilla Tuareg rear chain guide

My brother-in-law brought over his new 2024 DesertX Rally and mentioned it had a loud chain slap even with the chain set a bit tighter than spec. The OEM chain is nothing great, and he said he's switching to a DID 525 ZVM-X soon. What surprised both of us is that Ducati still hasn't added a proper rear chain guide on this version either. There's just a plastic fin that's quite useless, if I'm honest. Has anyone tried using the Aprilia Tuareg's guide or anything custom-fit that works? I'd love something proven and tested.

I haven't personally tried it bu I've heard of people trying the Tuareg's, I didn't see any complains but not sure how well it fits.

I haven't tried the Aprilia Tuareg guide myself, but I saw this guy on tiktok mod it to get better chain control but DID chain is not a bad move either

Fitment can be tricky with Aprilla sometimes. You might want to check out options from Acerbis or Moose they've got universal chain rollers and sliders that could work with a little tweaking
