80L Reckless bags on my ducati dessertX

I'm going on a weekend ride with my friends and just starting to strap on my Mosko Moto Reckless 80L bags.

honestly, I'm trying to avoid putting that heat shield on the exhaust or bolting the passenger pegs back on.
Can I make these bags work without using those parts? Cheers!

@AutoEnthusiast68, Whatever you do, you absolutely need to use a heat shield.
The exhaust on the DesertX gets hot enough to melt plastic and synthetic fabrics in minutes. Skipping the heat shield is a great way to put a hole in your bag, ruin your gear, and even risk a fire.
It's not just a recommendation, it's a critical safety component.
I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem bcs the Mosko Moto shields are small, easy to install, and barely noticeable

other commentators are right, you absolutely have to use a heat shield. The Ducati DesertX exhaust gets incredibly hot, especially on a long ride.
The Mosko bags are made of durable materials, but they are not heatproof. Skipping the shield will almost certainly melt the bag, and it could cause serious damage to your gear, your bike, and could even be a fire hazard. It's not a suggestion; it's a safety measure
